As per pledge West Bengal Government will launch a credit card scheme for students on 30th June to help them get various financial benefits for higher education.
West Bengal has already various schemes, including Kanyashree-Swami Vivekananda Merit, Shikshashree for students. Now thed have introduced student credit card. The West Bengal Government will be the granter.
West Bengal's Chief Minister, Mamata Banarjee said that " Students are our pride. Parents no longer have to worry about the huge expenses of higher education for their children. The state government will support them."
Process to get Student Credit Card
Eligibility Criteria :
• Must be a resident of West Bengal
• Age Upto 40
Usability :
Students will be able to use this money for all expenses of undergraduate, postgraduate, vocational courses, diploma courses, doctorates, post doctorates and other higher education.
Value :
Student credit card scheme will provide Upto 10 Lakhs. Students will get 15 Years to submit the loan in low interest rate.
How to apply :
The students card scheme will be full in online. Government will publish the guidelines very soon.

West Bengal Government is really helping the students to carry out the costs for studying. Now the of economically weaker section can take admission in private colleges or they can study abroad for their higher education.
